Welcome to my home page. This site is an opportunity for you to contact me Forbes Robertson. I am a barn dance caller and musician. I can provide everything you need for a successful barn dance or ceilidh in the Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire,Somerset and Gloucestershire area. I can perform on my own calling to recorded music or with a talented bunch of musicians collectively known as "The Canny Band" We have played at most of the popular venues for weddings and parties within a 30-40 mile radius of the Bristol/Bath area and can give advice if you are looking for a venue 

Live music and traditional dancing is a great way to get all ages involved at weddings, family parties or company functions. I can provide an evening of Irish music and song or a good Scottish ceilidh. I have performed at over 300 Weddings,and more recently at some civil partnerships. Each  event is special and I tailor our programme to suit the needs of the couple and their families
